Electric Chevrolet Blazer arrives in 2023 with 530 km of autonomy and 560 hp version

Yet another nostalgic model goes electric. Miss Blazer ? Chevrolet presented the new generation of the SUV, but now as part of its strategy to electrify its lineup.

The Blazer EV hits the North American market in mid-2023 in configurations with front, rear or all-wheel drive and autonomy that reaches 530 km , depending on the version (there are four: 1LT, 2LT, RS and SS ).Each of them will have distinctive details on the outside so that they are easily recognizable. The entry two will be painted in a single color and will have 19-inch wheels. The RS, on the other hand, will bring a more sporty look , with a grille and details in black, in addition to 21-inch wheels.

Inside, the electric Blazer will have a 17.7” touchscreen for the multimedia center and an 11” digital instrument panel . Other model equipment includes ambient lighting, electric opening of the nozzle for the charger, navigation system with planning for charging stations and semi-autonomous Super Cruise driving assistance . The SUV will also not have a start button, turning on only when the driver steps on the brake after closing the door. In addition, the Blazer will bring an extensive list of safety features , such as autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision alert, cross traffic assistant, parking assistant, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistant with correction route guidance and smart headlights. Regarding performance data, only the sports SS had some information revealed. The top model will have engines that will deliver up to 560 hp and 89.6 kgfm , in addition to all-wheel drive. According to Chevrolet, this set will allow the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds.

The 2LT and RS versions will be the first to hit stores in the middle of next year. The prices will be US$ 47,595 (R$ 257 thousand in the current conversion) and US$ 51,995 , respectively. The SS, in turn, will be launched at the end of 2023 for US$ 65,995.
