HRV 2024 – motor
Honda sells the new HRV 2024 in the Brazilian market with two engine options, but always with the same CVT automatic transmission and 7 speeds. Furthermore, the model always comes with front-wheel drive.
The two most affordable versions use the 1.5 i-VTEC flex engine, with a transverse layout, with 4 cylinders in line and 16 valves, in addition to natural aspiration, direct injection and double overhead valve control .
It delivers 126 horsepower (with any fuel), at 6,200 rpm, while torque is 15.5 kgfm with gasoline and 15.8 kgfm with ethanol, at 4,600 rpm.
Moving on to the more expensive options, the SUV comes with the 1.5 VTEC Turbo Flex engine, also transverse, with 4 cylinders, 16 valves, direct injection and dual valve timing.
Its power jumps to 177 horsepower, with gasoline or ethanol, at 6,000 rpm, in addition to 24.5 kgfm of torque, at 1,700 rpm.
